Spotlight Brother: Brother Ankit Maddi
Our Spotlight Brother this week is Brother Ankit Maddi! Ankit became a Brother in Spring semester of 2014 with the Nu Class. Ankit has been a dedicated brother ever since and Eta Rho won't be the same without his voice.
What is your favorite AKPsi memory?
The one that sticks out the most was the bidding for "Pie the Bros" during chapter the first semester I became a Brother (Spring 2014). There was a whole lot of yelling and the camaraderie was fun to be a part of. That being said, the potlucks come in a close second. Whenever Brother Gio comes through with the Popeye's hookup, it's a fun time.
If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would you say?
I would tell myself to listen to think about the consequences before making any decision. I find myself jumping to conclusions quickly. Impulsive decision making can be dangerous at times. I would tell myself to not be so myopic.
After leaving Eta Rho, what do you hope brothers will remember about you?
I hope brothers remember that I like to eat. I also hope they remember me for my sense of humor.
What will you miss most about Eta Rho?
I'm going to miss running into brothers everywhere on campus on a daily basis.
