Welcome Chi Class!

Eta Rho initiated its new class of brothers: Chi Class is diverse group of young professionals that will bring many new skills, talents, and ideas to our fraternity. Majors in Chi Class range from from Business to Computer Science to Architecture!

“I had the opportunity to mentor and provide morale to a very diverse group of bright individuals. It was especially gratifying to witness their bond get stronger and see them carrying out the true essence of brotherhood. Everything I experienced this semester was because of Chi Class. They made me a better leader, brother, and professional. I am so grateful that I had the chance to shape them professionally, and I hope their contributions to AKPsi and UIC are great.”

“From meeting my big, to the inside jokes our class has, there so much in between that built me into the professional I am today. I have experienced so much brotherhood within the past couple months and wouldn’t have it any other way.”

- Brother Kristina Francisco, Chi Class

“My pledging process really helped mold me into the person I am now in how I carry myself as a business professional and my overall understanding of how important brotherhood is. In troubling times when I needed help picking myself back up, there was always a hand to be offered. My fellow pledges and brothers were there for me in my dire times of need and I will always be there for them for whatever they need. And I’m truly grateful for all of them.”

- Brother Jared Seiber, Chi Class

“My pledging experience was truly transformational. I’m very grateful for what it has instilled in me and to strengthen the necessary skills that will only continue to grow from here forward. I also did not expect to become so close to 20 other individuals in such a short amount of time and I’m excited to see everyone’s hard work and well deserved success down the line. I’m honored to be a part of Alpha Kappa Psi and I owe so much to the brothers who have taught me valuable life lessons this far.”

- Brother Brandon Heinz, Chi Class

“Some experiences I enjoyed during the pledging process were the social and philanthropy events we held. It definitely made all of us closer and learn to work together for a goal.”

- Brother Kunj Patel, Chi Class

“The greatest part about pledging is not only getting to know each other as a pledge class, but also being able to meet all the different brothers and realizing how amazing everyone is in their own way.”

- Brother Luis Zizumbo, Chi Class
